Biography
Dangerkids came together in Dayton, Ohio during 2012, when Andy Bane, Tyler Smyth, Jake Bryant, Jake Bonham, and Katie Cole pooled their separate backgrounds. The resulting hybrid merged rap, electronic dance music, post-hardcore, and metalcore into a dark and moody style that recalled an updated Linkin Park while still holding the strongest elements of each genre in balance. Rise Records issued the band’s first album, Collapse, in 2013. Their much anticipated sophomore outing, Blacklist_, appeared in 2016.
