Biography
Mitchell Gaynor, who practices as a medical oncologist, internist, and hematologist while also writing best-selling books, has promoted music, sound, and chanting—especially through metal and crystal singing bowls—as a complementary approach within medical healing and therapeutic work. In addition to his numerous books on the topic, he has issued multiple tapes, CDs, and DVDs centered on sound healing and has appeared frequently on radio and television programs to examine the advantages of healing through sound.
