Geoffroy Sauvé crafts songs steeped in weary reflection yet threaded with optimism, pulling imagery from his wide travels as well as intimate relationships and emotional loss. Atmospheric layers define his productions, which fuse trip-hop pulses and understated dance rhythms with folk-rock guitars, recalling fellow indie electronic artists such as James Blake and Chet Faker. His first album, Coastline, surfaced in 2017; afterward he steadily wove broader global textures into later work, most notably on 2024’s Good Boy.

Throughout the 2010s Sauvé appeared on multiple early Men I Trust recordings. Max Gendron co-wrote and co-produced the 2015 independent EP Soaked in Gold. Bonsound issued the full-length Coastline in 2017, again with Gendron alongside Gabriel Gagnon handling production. After his mother died of cancer, Geoffroy delivered the deeply personal second album 1952 in 2019. He self-released the acoustic set Live Slow Die Wise in 2022. The following year brought both a cover of John Hartford’s “Gentle on My Mind” and a featured turn on Apashe’s dance single “Lost in Mumbai.” A Mexican journey that included adopting a shelter dog led him to fold Latin and African rhythms into the 2024 album Good Boy.
