Germán Montero

Germán Montero, a vocalist hailing from Mexico’s Sinaloa region, specializes in the banda style characteristic of that area. He entered the world on May 21, 1979, in the sizable coastal city of Los Mochis and has long credited Vicente Fernández, Pedro Infante, and Joan Sebastían among his foremost inspirations. His first full-length release, Pensando en Ti, appeared in 2008 via Univision, and its single “Amantes Escondidos” gained traction by registering on both Billboard’s Hot Latin Tracks and Latin Regional Mexican Airplay charts in the United States. Mid-2009 brought the arrival of Compréndeme, whose title track climbed prominently on the Mexican Regional list.
