Ariel Camacho y Los Plebes Del Rancho

Originating from Angostura, Sinaloa, the Mexican norteña outfit Ariel Camacho y los Plebes del Rancho centered on José Ariel Camacho Barraza alongside Omar Burgos and César Iván Sánchez. Their swift recognition arose from refined musicianship paired with the rare instrumentation of guitar, requinto, and tuba. Engagements at multiple state fairs prompted Del Records to extend a contract, resulting in the September 2014 release of their debut album, El Karma. A car accident in February 2015 claimed Camacho’s life at age 22, along with two fellow passengers. The single “El Karma” ascended to number one on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart that March, and the album reached the Top Five on the Latin albums chart. Posthumous projects Hablemos and Recuerden Mi Estilo arrived in late 2015 and early 2016, respectively, the latter securing a position on the Billboard 200.
