T3r Elemento

Emerging from the Regional Mexican scene, T3R Elemento operates as a quartet whose videos and digital singles convey a youthful spin on the alternative corrido movement. Their first studio album, Underground, appeared in 2017 and yielded the Top Latin Songs chart single "Rafa Caro." Subsequent releases continued to chart, with 2018's The Green Trip and 2019's Buenas Vibras both reaching the Top 30 on Billboard's Latin Albums tally. Further full-length projects followed in quick succession: Nuestra Ola in 2020, Exotic Corridos in 2021, and La Divinidad Femenina in 2022.

Formed in 2015 in Los Angeles County and Las Vegas, Nevada, the group began when then-14-year-old vocalist Kristopher Nava teamed with requinto player Felipe Prieto, electric guitarist and tuba specialist Sergio Cardenas, and accordionist Zeus Gamez. Drawing influence from Gerardo Ortiz, Regulo Caro, and other alterna-movimiento figures, the foursome started out playing covers of narco and traditional corridos rooted in the Culiacán, Sinaloa style at parties and high-school events. They posted live clips to YouTube and distributed homemade digital singles through streaming and download platforms, which caught the attention of Parra Music's A&R team and led to a signing. Their initial label release, the 2016 live set Rafael Caro Quintero (En Vivo) named for the Guadalajara Cartel founder, mixed covers with original material.

The studio version of "Rafa Caro" surfaced in July 2017 ahead of the full Underground album that November and peaked at number 44 on the Top Latin Songs chart. A live counterpart, Underground: En Vivo, arrived in 2018, followed later that November by The Green Trip, which climbed to number five on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart. Buenas Vibras, the band's third studio effort, came out in 2019 and reached number 26 on the same ranking. Nuestra Ola appeared as their fourth studio album in November 2020. In 2021 they issued the paired studio and live packages Exotic Corridos and Exotic Corridos: En Vivo. Their sixth studio album, La Divinidad Femenina, followed in 2022.
