Biography
Ginny Blackmore, a singer and songwriter from New Zealand, blends contemporary R&B with mainstream pop in a passionate style. Having been born in Auckland, she departed from school at 16 in order to chase a career in music. After three years, she moved to London, where a demo tape secured her a publishing deal with Sony/ATV. Following that, she wrote songs for artists including Christina Aguilera and Adam Lambert. During a session with Lambert and producer Tricky Stewart in Los Angeles, Blackmore gained the motivation to begin performing and pitching her material to record labels. Famed producer L.A. Reid signed her to Epic Records in 2011. She put out the single "Bones" in 2013.
