Biography
Hannelore Bedert, a Belgian singer and songwriter, first saw the light of day in Deerlijk during 1984. While enrolled in cabaret studies at the Herman Terilinck Instituut, she assembled the English-singing Baroque pop ensemble Rheen, whose album Days Ago appeared in 2006 only for the group to disband before the year closed. She next issued her opening EP Janker and the follow-up long-player Wat Als, both captured in her native West Flemish dialect, then joined Bart Peeters for the song “Zonder Woorden” featured on his 2008 LP De Hemel in Het Klad. Her next studio album, Uitgewist, surfaced in 2011.
