Buurman

Emerging from Limburg, Belgium, the group Buurman came together in 2008 with Geert Verdickt on lead vocals, Stijn Gevaert on guitar, Koen Tote handling bass, Jens Blaute at the piano, and Maarten Moesen on drums. Their first brush with wider recognition came the same year when they placed second on the television talent contest Zo Is Er Maar Een. Having tracked their debut album Rocky, Komt Altijd Terug that year, the band later appeared at the Marktrock and Dranouter festivals before issuing their second album, Mount Everest, in 2010.
