Biography
Emerging as the solo endeavor of Daan Stuyven from Dead Man Ray, Daan functions as a dark and somewhat ironic ensemble steeped in electro and rock textures. Originating in Belgium during the late 1990s, the act issued its first album, Profools, in 1999 as a compilation assembled from tracks Stuyven had recorded earlier in that decade. In the years that followed, further releases arrived under the band configuration, among them Bridge Burner in 2002, Victory in 2004, and Player in 2006.
