Zornik

In Zonhoven, Belgium, Koen Buyse (vocals, guitar), Kristof Vanduren (bass), and Marijn Horemans (drums) formed the rock band Zornik in 1999. The group first reached the marketplace in 2001 through the single "Love Affair," which set the stage for their chart-topping arrival in Flanders two years later. Their opening full-length album, The Place Where You Will Find Us, claimed the top spot on the Flemish albums chart that year. One-Armed Bandit followed in 2004 and likewise led the chart, though Alien Sweetheart (2005) and Crosses (2007) both peaked at number three. Those two releases respectively featured the hit singles "I Feel Alright" and "Black Hope Shot Down." Zornik next issued the best-of collection 4.000.000 Minutes of Zornik in 2008, which entered the Top Ten and yielded the new hit single "4 Million Minutes."
