Hoods

Established in Sacramento, California as a hardcore mainstay from 1995 onward, Hoods originated with guitarist Mike Hood at its core. Multiple releases have followed on various independent imprints, among them the 1999 Alone EP via Breakout, Time...the Destroyer in 2001 and Pray for Death in 2003 on Victory Records, plus The King Is Dead from 2005 on Eulogy Recordings. A steady stream of musicians has moved through the group over time, yet at the moment of writing the lineup featured vocalist Ben Garcia, bassist Nate Vicious, and drummer Whiteboy Ben.
