Biography
Emerging from Pennsylvania, the metalcore outfit If Not for Me crafts an intense yet approachable style that merges raw force with synth-driven pop hooks and memorable melodies. Mainstream breakthrough arrived for the group in 2022 via Eulogy, an album they followed two years afterward with Everything You Wanted, their first release on a major label.
Originating in Harrisburg, If Not for Me features Patrick Glover on vocals, Hayden Calhoun on guitar, Zac Allen on bass, and Cody Frain on drums, each a seasoned participant in the Pennsylvania music community. Drawing from the expansive range of post-hardcore pioneers such as Bring Me the Horizon, I Prevail, and August Burns Red, the band issued its first full-length effort, Written in Blood, on an independent basis in 2015. Three years after that came the five-song EP Capture the Current, which preceded the Billboard-charting second album Eulogy in 2022. Before unveiling the assured and dynamic Everything You Wanted in 2024, If Not for Me signed with InVogue Records.
