Biography
Emerging independently after his time with Grand Hustle’s Rich Kids crew, Chicago MC Jose Guapo ended that affiliation near the end of 2012 and first connected with rapper Young Dro along with his label. A diss track aimed at Dro appeared from Guapo in 2013, after which he shifted to Quality Control, the imprint tied to Migos. His well-received mixtape Osama Bin Guapo surfaced in 2014, while the following year brought the single “Who Want It” featuring Migos and the hit track “Run It Up” with TakeOff and Lucci.
