Biography
Kollision, an Atlanta rapper, ascended rapidly within Quality Control during the latter half of the 2010s through verses that paired agile, street-rooted rhymes with stretches of intense self-examination. After his breakthrough track "Space Cadet" achieved regional success, he dropped Better Than Yesterday along with Not For Nothing across 2018.
During his youth Kollision competed as an athlete with a strong preference for boxing, the sport that supplied the idea for his performing name. Under the wing of Quality Control alongside Migos and Lil Yachty, he contributed to the label’s 2017 compilation Control the Streets, Vol. 1. Once "Space Cadet" caught on locally, he issued his first full-length album, Better Than Yesterday, early in 2018; the set contained the single "No Point" with Sonyae Elise and labelmate Lil Baby. Toward the close of the year he followed with his second album, Not For Nothing.
