Swedish outfit Love Is All features Josephine Olausson handling vocals and keyboards alongside Johan Lindwall on bass, Markus Görsch behind the drums, Fredrik Eriksson on saxophone, and Nicholaus Sparding contributing guitar and vocals. Olausson, Sparding, and Görsch had earlier played together in Girlfriendo. Once that group dissolved, the three immediately reformed and brought in Lindwall, who had already worked with Olausson and Sparding on a side project titled Cat Skills, before completing the roster with Eriksson. The band earned widespread praise from online writers for fusing art punk with indie rock, issued multiple singles—including one named NME’s single of the week—and gathered those tracks into the debut album Nine Times That Same Song, which appeared on the New York label What’s Your Rupture? toward the end of 2005. Following extensive road work in 2006 and 2007, Eriksson departed, leaving Love Is All to continue as a quartet. In 2008 the group released both A Hundred Things That Keep Me Up at Night and the remix collection Love Is All Mixed Up while adding Åke Strömer on saxophone and keyboards. That same configuration remained in place for Two Thousand and Ten Injuries, issued by Polyvinyl in March 2010.
