Biography
Choi Min-ho, a South Korean rapper, singer, actor, songwriter, and model performing under the mononym Minho, first rose to prominence as part of the superstar K-pop group Shinee.
Shinee, celebrated for their hit-making fusion of high-energy electronic dance-pop, launched in 2008 and cultivated an enormous fanbase through striking visuals paired with intricately synchronized, technically demanding choreography. While active in Shinee, Minho sustained a thriving acting career, appearing in multiple television programs including Salamander Guru and The Shadows (2012), To the Beautiful You (2012), Medical Top Team (2013), My First Time (2015), and Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (2016), along with the 2016 feature film Canola. He released his debut solo single, "I'm Home," in 2019 and followed it with "Heartbreak" in 2021. The latter track featured on his first EP, Chase, issued in 2022, which climbed to number four on the Gaon Album Chart.
