Biography
Formed in London, the indie dance-pop trio Mr Sanka is fronted by Nick van Hofwegen of Young & Sick and completed by Mustafa and James. Their energetic and cheerful style draws on classic disco and pop alongside French house, evoking a blend of Phoenix and Paul Simon’s Graceland. The group first appeared in summer 2016 with the single “Flight Mode,” then released “Be Easy” and “Gallon” in early 2017, the second of which arrived with its dedicated five-track remix EP.
