Biography
Narcotic Thrust, the UK-based outfit, consists of producer, remixer and songwriter Stuart Crichton together with DJ Andy Morris. Their remix of Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head,” built around samples from New Order’s classic “Blue Monday” and issued as “Can’t Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head” on the B-side of her hit “Love At First Sight,” established the production team as a major force in the British club and dance scene. The duo subsequently signed with Pete Tong’s London Records imprint and released “Safe From Harm,” which featured vocals by Yvonne John Lewis and appeared on Danny Tenaglia’s compilation Back to Basis.
