Biography
Beginning in 1979, Chris and G.P. Partland played together in the Toronto-based band Oliver Heavyside, where Chris handled vocals and guitar while G.P. contributed vocals and percussion. The group dissolved in the mid-'80s, prompting the brothers to continue as a duo and sign with Capitol. Their Capitol output included the albums Electric Honey in 1986 and Between Worlds in 1990. They subsequently moved to Kinetic, issuing Part Land, Part Water in 1993.
