Specializing in vibrant, emotionally charged dance tracks that incorporate pop sensibilities, Will Lansley and John Morgan operate as Punctual, a production and songwriting duo recognized both for their independent output and their contributions alongside other performers. In the 2020s their external projects encompassed the BPI-certified silver single “Regardless” for RAYE and Rudimental, together with multiple U.K. Top Ten pop successes such as “21 Reasons” by Nathan Dawe featuring Ella Henderson, “React” by Switch Disco and Henderson, “0800 Heaven” by Dawe, Joel Corry, and Henderson, “Alibi” by Henderson, and “Kisses” by BL3SS and CamrinWatsin featuring bbyclose. Performing as lead or joint acts since 2016, they launched their catalog with the paired tracks “Eva” and “Fix,” then attracted praise and club support through “I Don't Wanna Know” in 2020, the Aluna collaboration “Summer of Love” in 2021, “Do It All Again” with Jordan Shaw in 2022, “On & On” alongside Armin van Buuren in 2023, and “Heaven Knows” with Kaskade and Poppy Baskcomb in 2024. Their remix catalog extends to dozens of songs originally recorded by Amber Mark, Clean Bandit, Troye Sivan, and additional artists.

Acquaintances since adolescence, Lansley and Morgan hail from Newbury, Berkshire, and both completed studies at Bristol University. They introduced Punctual in 2016 via the uplifting pair “Eva” and “Fix,” while also completing their earliest commercial remixes that year for HONNE and Luke Fono. In subsequent seasons they notably issued the rousing “King Without a Crown” that featured Skinny Living and Kid Ink. Their 2020 activities featured two links to RAYE—a rework of her “Natalie Don't” and a co-production role on the Rudimental joint “Regardless”—plus their own reinterpretation of Mario Winans’ “I Don't Wanna Know.” Following the Aluna partnership on “Summer of Love,” the duo reached wider commercial traction in 2022 when “21 Reasons,” crafted with Nathan Dawe and spotlighting Ella Henderson, climbed to number nine on the U.K. pop chart; Henderson thereafter became a recurring collaborator. Punctual sustained momentum through further associations with Switch Disco, Dawe and Joel Corry, and BL3SS and CamrinWatsin, while enlisting outside voices for their own material including “On & On” and “Heaven Knows.” By late 2024 their production credits additionally covered tracks created for Jason Derulo, Bebe Rexha, and Kylie Minogue.
