Michigan rapper RMC Mike storms onto beats with his raspy, growling delivery, blending raw aggression and wit through nonstop verbal sparring. Throughout the 2010s he forged a tight partnership with Rio Da Yung OG that yielded Flint scene staples such as “Paranoid,” “Inergee,” and “S.O.T.B,” plus the Dumb and Dumb3r mixtape series.

The Flint MC made an instant impression in 2019 via his debut tape Rookie Season, where his weighty, low-register voice and biting content stood out immediately. After appearing together on “Loose Talk,” he and Rio Da Yung OG clicked at once and moved into the studio with producer Enrgy—who received a dedication on “Inergee”—to shape their signature approach: Mike’s natural gift for trash talk, freewheeling flows, and a backdrop of speeding bass lines, hammering piano, and theatrical sound effects. The follow-up Dum and Dumber Too arrived months later, adding fifteen more cuts anchored by the local favorite “Paranoid.” Closing the year with “Still Spice Talkin” alongside Rio and GrindHard E and “Jackie Moon” with Rio and ShittyBoyz, Mike opened 2020 by issuing Sophomore Season and the EPs Dawg Shit with Smurf Hicks and Bedrock Babies with YSR Gramz.

Two further joint projects dropped in quick succession during 2021: Judgement Day paired him with KrispyLife Kidd, while the long-awaited Dum N Dumbber 3 reunited him with Rio and added another scene anthem in “S.O.T.B.” With Rio behind bars in the early 2020s, Mike concentrated on his own catalog, releasing Junior Season and Ghetto Assassin in 2022, Senior Season in 2023, and the EPs Ed, Edd n Eddy (with GrindHard E and leftover Rio recordings) and Drake & Josh 2 (with YN Jay). Once Rio regained his freedom, the pair reconvened for “Me and Mike,” “DD4,” “Mike Voice,” and “Flint Boyz,” all featured on Rio’s 2024 mixtape Rio Circa 2020.
