Biography
Rose Falcon was born to Myla Falcon and her husband Billy Falcon, the singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer. The family’s first home was a studio apartment in New York City; once she reached school age they relocated to New Jersey. In 1987 her mother received a cancer diagnosis and passed away two years afterward, after which Billy Falcon raised his daughter alone, taking her on the road during his musical engagements until the pair finally put down roots in Nashville. He urged her to sing and, at her request, began co-writing songs with her. Columbia Records signed her, issuing the debut album Rose Falcon in March 2003 when she was nineteen. Her compositions have since been placed in commercials, television programs, and films, and have been cut by Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Day of Fire, and Jessie James. In 2011 she signed with Show Dog-Universal Music, which released the 19th Avenue EP the following year.
