Biography
During the 1990s Sweden generated pop groups at a rapid pace that matched global demand, and among the acts leaning more toward dance music was S-Connection, which signed with the Sidelake imprint of Virgin Records and made its first appearance in 1994. After scoring three hit singles between 1994 and 1995, the four-piece lineup of Jonas Rabe, Hakan Lundberg, Henrik Kool, and lead singer Anabelle issued its first full-length project, Disco Nnected, on Denmark’s CMC label in 1995. Two years later the album reached Japanese listeners through Avex Records and surfaced in the United States on the Hot Tracks/Vinyl 4 imprint.
