Biography
Having established his base in Los Angeles, California, Mexican musician and filmmaker Sergio Arau performed as a member of the Latin rock group Botellita de Jerez until the ensemble dissolved immediately after its June 19, 1997 concert at Mexico City's Metropolitan Theater. Upon relocating to the U.S., he assembled the band Los Mismisimos Angeles, which made its first appearance with the album Mi Frida Sufrida.
