Biography
Hailing from San Francisco, DJ and producer Slaptop made his initial impact in 2014 through the track "Sunrise," a pleasant piece of electronic disco-pop that entered Billboard's Dance/Electronic Digital Songs chart that June. Its reach expanded markedly a few months afterward when EA Sports placed it on the soundtrack to the hit video game FIFA 15. Upbeat follow-up singles appeared throughout 2015 and 2016, among them "Walls," which was selected for FIFA 16. The producer delivered his debut album, With You, in 2017, enlisting guest vocalists for six of the eleven songs. He had by that time already supplied remixes for Zhu's "Faded," Maroon 5's "Maps," Conrad Sewell's "Hold Me Up," and Big Grams' "Drum Machine."
