Biography
Susperia, the Norwegian band operating in the death metal and black metal realms, began under the earlier name Seven Sins when ex-Oldman's Child and Dimmu Borgir drummer Tjodalu teamed with guitarist Cyrus; singer Athera, bassist Memnock, and guitarist Elvorn later completed the lineup. Their inaugural concert took place at the Wacken Open Air Festival in 1999, the same year they tracked the demo "Illusions of Evil." Susperia joined the Nuclear Blast roster in 2000 and delivered the self-produced Predominance, issued March 26, 2001.
