Biography
Hailing from Riverside, California, Travis Tatum Mills, who performs as T. Mills, first took music seriously by cutting tracks in his bedroom. As a teenager he posted material on MySpace, which earned him slots on the Vans Warped Tour and, soon after, a contract with the Uprising label. The July 2009 digital-download EP Finders Keepers appeared as a teaser for the album Ready, Fire, Aim!, released in September 2010 and featuring the brash and bratty singles "Stupid Boy" and "She Got A...". In 2011 Mills advanced to major-label Columbia, where his first offering was the short digital-download set Leaving Home in January 2012. Following several mixtapes, he delivered another digital EP, All I Wanna Do, in February 2014; the four-track, pop-oriented project climbed to number 16 on Billboard's Top Rap Albums chart.
