Known for a fluid yet nimble delivery and lyrics that confront his battles with substance abuse and depression head-on, the rapper Wifisfuneral operates out of Florida. An original participant in the Members Only crew alongside XXXTentacion and Ski Mask the Slump God, he first gained traction through independent projects such as the 2017 mixtape Boy Who Cried Wolf, then issued his proper full-length debut Pain? in 2020. Further short projects followed, among them the 2022 mixtape 4 Month Binge Before Revenge, the Until We Meet Again EP, and the 2023 collaborative single “On My Sleeve” with electro-pop artist Shelby Carter.

Isaiah Rivera entered the world in the Bronx before growing up in Palm Beach, Florida. He began writing rhymes during elementary years and captured his first home recordings at age 13. After leaving high school early, he initially performed as Izzy Kill$ and later adopted the moniker Wifisfuneral in tribute to his early partner Gabe Guerra, known as DJ Scheme. Together they created several streaming successes, one being the Brian Eno-sampling track “Light Skin Trick Daddy,” before Scheme pursued a separate path. A handful of EPs paved the way for the May 2016 mixtape Black Heart Revenge, which was succeeded by When Hell Falls in January 2017. At nineteen Rivera inked a deal with Interscope/Alamo/Polydor, prompting an official label edition of Black Heart Revenge that same year; Boy Who Cried Wolf arrived the following August and featured a remix of the million-streaming single “Wha?.” Ethernet emerged in 2018 with its eerie, atmospheric tone, while the Robb Bank$ collaboration Conn3ct3d surfaced in early 2019. That year also brought the EPs Ethernet 2 and EV3RYTHING SUCKS. Though he briefly declared an early exit from music, Wifisfuneral instead delivered the studio album Pain? in 2020.

A return arrived the next year via the EP Smoking Mirrors. In 2022 he issued both 4 Month Binge Before Revenge and Until We Meet Again, the latter housing the late-night favorite “1 AM.” January 2023 brought a guest appearance on Shelby Carter’s reflective single “On My Sleeve,” after which Wifisfuneral launched a headlining run across North America.
