Landon Cube

Originating from Maryland, Landon Cube functions as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer whose hip-hop output carries a distinctly dreamy atmosphere. His initial YouTube activity in 2013 consisted solely of vocal-and-acoustic-guitar performances uploaded at age fifteen. While completing high school over the following years, he assembled a home studio and concentrated on original songwriting. The 2016 uploads shifted toward refined electric-guitar renditions of material by Frank Ocean, Major Lazer, and Justin Bieber, together with the first presentations of his own melodic pop pieces, among them the early tracks “Euphoria” and “Victims.” By 2017 his work integrated additional hip-hop rhythms and rapping, paired with hazy production choices audible on songs such as “beachtown” and “Drive My Car.” The same year brought featured appearances on the Billboard-charting singles “Nowadays” and “Red Roses” from Lil Skies’ Top Ten R&B/hip-hop album Life of a Dark Rose, both of which also reached the Hot 100. Further singles followed in the form of “Drive My Car” and “Round n Round” with sprite lee, after which he closed the decade by issuing the 2019 EP Orange, containing the cuts “17” with Lil Skies and “Can U Feel Your Face” with GNAR.
