Tam Tam Go!

Nacho Campillo, who had earlier performed with the glam rock outfit RH+, teamed up with his brother Javier Campillo—previously known as Daké—to launch the Spanish pop/rock ensemble Tam Tam Go!. Their opening long-player, Spanish Shuffle, appeared on the independent Twins Records label in 1988. The Campillo brothers delivered their inaugural live set, performed entirely in English, at the local Universal Theater. Once Spanish Romance reached listeners in 1989, the group switched back to their mother tongue and captured the successful Espaldas Mojadas the following year. After Vida y Color arrived in 1993, the act elected to pause its activities. During the ensuing interval Nacho issued a self-titled solo album in 1995. Tam Tam Go! reemerged in 1999 with Nubes y Claros and then delivered the greatest-hits compilation Miscelánea in 2001.
