Biography
Thrones emerged as the solo outlet for double-necked bassist Salty Green when a cassette appeared on the Punk in My Vitamins label. The seven-inch “Reddleman” arrived next, and once a split single with Behead the Prophet had been issued, the project moved to Communion for the 1996 album Alraune. After shifting to Kill Rock Stars, Thrones released the single “The Suckling.” The compilation Some Songs followed shortly afterward, and in spring 2000 the EP Sperm Whale marked the project’s return.
