Biography
Known professionally as Tiff Joy, Tiffany Joy McGhee functions as a worship leader and contemporary gospel performer whose voice projects both force and exuberance. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was raised in and has retained membership at Free Spirit Ministerial Worship Center, the ministry directed by her parents Bishop Timothy B. McGhee and Pastor Bernadine Bell-McGhee. Prior vocal appearances on releases by Joshua's Troop, VaShawn Mitchell, and Fred Hammond preceded her 2014 breakthrough, when she wrote and shared lead duties on “Amazing” for Ricky Dillard & New G’s Grammy-nominated album of the same title that reached number one on the Billboard gospel chart. The single and the project each received Stellar Awards. Tiff Joy then issued her self-titled debut album via the Tyscot label in 2015, and the set entered the Top Ten of the gospel chart.
