Tom Beck

Tom Beck, an actor and singer, entered the world on February 26, 1978, in Nuremberg. He devoted the years 1999 through 2003 to musical theater studies at the Bavarian Theatre Academy in Munich. Television work began for him in 2004 across multiple productions, most prominently the long-running series Alarm für Cobra 11: Die Autobahnpolizei (Alarm for Cobra 11: Highway Patrol), where he held a starring role from 2008 to 2013. Beck also became proficient on several instruments, placed with distinction at the 2001 national Bundeswettbewerb Gesang singing competition, and subsequently performed in a range of musicals. His first single, "Sexy," arrived in March 2011 and was joined that month by the album Superficial Animal, whose radio-friendly rock sound propelled it to number 36 on the German album charts. Americanized, his second album, appeared in October 2012.
