Biography
Tomas Thordarson from Denmark launched his pop career after auditioning successfully and claiming victory in the opening round of Star for a Night, the country's counterpart to American Idol. Participation in the event made clear to him the depth of his connection to music, leading him to embrace it as a full-time pursuit. Denmark selected his Latin-infused single "Shame on You" as its entry for the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest.
