Biography
The Austrian Top 40 welcomed Unique’s opening single “Iko, Iko” at the No. 8 slot. Keyboardist Erwin Geppner and guitarist Werner Freistätter, two former electronics students who moved into production during the early ’90s, assembled the dance music outfit, and the track signaled its strong launch. After the release of debut album Internity and the locally top-selling full-length record Level 2, original members B.Nice and singer Jade Davis exited to focus on solo work. English rapper, model and dancer Christian Troy and Philippine singer Sheila Fernandez came aboard ahead of the 2000 album Forever. The compilation Best Of Unique II - The Golden Experience arrived in 2002.
