Puerto Rican MC Villano Antillano earned recognition as the first prominent trans artist to emerge in Latin rap. Her music fuses EDM, trap, and hip-hop into an exuberant style that propelled her into the spotlight during 2022 through a guest spot on producer Bizarrap's "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 51," which preceded the arrival of her debut album, La Sustancia X. The following year she unveiled her second LP, Miss Misogyny.

Born in 1995, Villano Antillano spent her formative years in Bayamón, a suburb of San Juan, Puerto Rico, where salsa, rock, and hip-hop shaped her early tastes. Strict, conservative parents led to her expulsion from the family home at age 17, after which a challenging stretch preceded her gradual ascent within the island’s underground trap and hip-hop circles. The 2020 release Ketoprincesa and the 2022 album Hembrismo documented her deepening embrace of a queer, trans perspective. She drew further notice by championing the queer community on a widely circulated tiraera, or diss track, before the Bizarrap collaboration broadened her audience. That same year she issued her first full-length project, La Sustancia X. Subsequent team-ups in 2023 paired her with Pedro Capó, Sevdaliza, and Isabella Lovestory. Miss Misogyny followed in 2024 and included guest appearances by Mala Rodríguez and Nesi.
