Wash

Emerging onto the R&B landscape in 2014 alongside figures such as Chris Brown and Jeremih, vocalist Wash blended classic vocal techniques with hip-hop influences. Hailing from Port Arthur, Texas, he initially gained attention through postings of his R&B cover interpretations on online video platforms. A foundation in gospel music paired with his knack for contemporary hip-hop vernacular drew the attention of producer and songwriter Chef Tone, leading to Wash's inclusion in the AyeGirl Music roster during 2013. Through AyeGirl, he secured a deal with Interscope the following year. Also in 2014, his track "Can't Trust Thots" was released, incorporating a guest appearance from rapper French Montana.
