Zola Blood

Emerging from Hackney Wick in London, the British alternative quartet Zola Blood merges organic indie rock with complex atmospheric electronics. The group originated in 2014 out of earlier projects and immediately turned to composing and capturing material, issuing their first EP, Meridian, that year. Live appearances throughout London soon built their profile for a misty, otherworldly texture frequently likened to Radiohead, Jon Hopkins, and Nils Frahm. In 2015 they aligned with the independent London label Pond Life Songs and released the single "Play Out." All of 2016 was spent developing songs for their first full-length album. Named after a book by religious scholar James P. Carse, Infinite Games appeared in 2017.
