Zatokrev

In 2002 the Swiss metal outfit Zatokrev assembled, its lineup consisting of Marco Grementieri on bass, vocals, and samples, Frederyk Rotter delivering lead vocals and guitar, Silvio Spadino at the drums, and Stench handling guitar. Their self-titled debut surfaced on Codebreaker in September 2004. After that launch the sludge metal ensemble hit the road, sharpening its craft through festival appearances across Europe and repeated tours plus isolated dates inside France. Firebox and Czar of Crickets Records were both scheduled to issue the group’s follow-up full-length, Bury the Ashes, in 2007. A split effort pairing Zatokrev with Vancouver arrived on Get A Life in 2008.
