Amen

The Los Angeles-based neo-metal group Amen originated in 1994, founded by vocalist Casey Chaos alongside guitarist Paul Fig. Drummer Shannon Larkin, previously with Ugly Kid Joe, later became part of the ensemble and introduced former Snot guitarist Sonny Mayo to the fold. In the wake of Snot frontman Lynn Strait's passing in 1998, bassist John "Tumor" Fahnestock from that band also enlisted with Amen. This configuration then inked a deal with Roadrunner's fresh subsidiary I Am Records at the start of 1999. The band's inaugural album, simply titled Amen, appeared before the year's end, while their second release, We Have Come for Your Parents, came out during the autumn of 2000.
