Swedish singer/songwriter Andreas Moe began behind the scenes, writing and recording for other acts, before stepping forward as a solo performer whose work drew from Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Buckley, John Mayer, and Joni Mitchell. After extended studio work as a multi-genre songwriter and session player, he introduced his own melodic, personal songs on the Collecting Sunlight EP, his first official release, which appeared in 2012. The single “Ocean” gained traction and led to his debut full-length, Before the Rumble Comes, issued in 2015.

Early on, Moe sharpened his craft in Stockholm clubs and later served as session guitarist for Bosson and Ulrik Munther. His first notable solo credit arrived in 2011 when he supplied the featured vocal on Avicii’s “Fade Into Darkness,” the first of several contributions to electronic projects that later included tracks with Tiësto, Hardwell, and Fedde Le Grand.

Collecting Sunlight surfaced in 2012 as a sincere pop recording in the vein of OneRepublic and the Script. The following year brought the EP This Year, which kept the polished pop/rock core while adding electronic and folk touches. After signing with Sony in 2014, Moe steered toward guitar-led, introspective material aligned with Passenger, Fleet Foxes, and Bon Iver. His third EP, Ocean, arrived that year and was followed by Borderline. In 2015 he delivered Before the Rumble Comes. Growing audiences brought opening slots for John Mayer and Kodaline while he finished his fifth EP, Maybe It’s All We Dreamed Of. Released in summer 2017, the five-song set featured the singles “Bus Stop” and “Something Right.”

Moe reappeared in 2019 with the singles “Calling Out” and “Out of Your Body.”
