Australian DJ Anna Lunoe has built a reputation as a producer, singer, and songwriter whose work centers on dance-oriented electronic pop. Among the earliest women to handle mixing duties for Ministry of Sound, she first gained traction in 2012 via the EP Anna Lunoe & Friends, which included contributions from Flume and Touch Sensitive. In addition to major festival slots at Coachella, TomorrowWorld, and Electric Daisy Carnival, she notched dance successes with tracks such as "Real Talk," "All Out," and "B.D.D. (Bass Drum Dealer)." The Right Party EP arrived in 2019. After a short break from releasing, she resurfaced in 2022 for a tour and the Saturday Love EP, then issued her first full-length album, Pearl, in 2024.

Born in Sydney, Lunoe took up piano and guitar during her teenage years. Once she finished school, she shifted focus to DJing and computer-based production. Employment at FBi radio led to her creating the well-known Clubbers Guide mix compilations for Ministry of Sound, marking her as one of the first women to DJ for the international house label. Several of those compilations reached the top of internet dance charts and earned gold certification in Australia. Around 2012 she moved to Los Angeles, where the Anna Lunoe & Friends EP, again spotlighting Flume and Touch Sensitive, helped expand her audience. Steady live work, including DJ performances at Electric Daisy Carnival, Coachella, Ultra, and TomorrowWorld, strengthened her following, while further singles such as 2014’s "B.D.D. (Bass Drum Dealer)," 2016’s "Radioactive," and 2017’s "Bullseye" maintained momentum. That same year she joined Diplo and the Weeknd on tour, introduced her Hyperhouse brand, and welcomed her first child.

The 2018 single "Blaze of Glory" preceded the Right Party EP in 2019. The following year brought serious challenges: while giving birth to her second child, Lunoe battled an ear infection that caused partial deafness in one ear and then complete deafness in both for several months. She returned to Sydney just as Australia entered COVID-19 lockdown, and the combined effects of new motherhood, health setbacks, and the inability to tour left her briefly contemplating an exit from music.

Recovery came eventually, and March 2022 brought the single "Double Dip" with Madison Rose. The Saturday Love EP appeared that October, featuring Lulu Be. and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, while Lunoe launched her first U.S. tour in more than two years.

October 2024 saw the release of her debut album, Pearl. Working with co-producer Jack Glass, Lunoe channeled her accumulated musical and personal history into bright, high-energy dance tracks. Preceded by the title song and "Real Love," the album included guest turns from Shanique Marie and Iglew plus collaborations with J.O.S.H.U.A., Y U QT, and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.
