Biography
Originating from Tacoma, Washington, R&B performer Eric Keith, professionally known as Blakk Soul, first built his reputation as a producer and backing vocalist through work alongside figures such as Playboi Carti, Dr. Dre, Macklemore, and Anderson .Paak. He later shifted focus to a solo trajectory that merged R&B, hip hop, and soul.
Holiday Jukin, his opening EP from 2014, arose through a joint project with Rapper Big Pooh, yet his initial standalone solo EP, Never See, did not appear until 2017. Multiple subsequent years went into shaping his debut album, Take Your Time, which arrived in 2020 and included Joell Ortiz on the lead single "Help."
