Cristiano De André

Emerging from Genoa in 1962, the Italian multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter Cristiano De André counts notable musicians Fabrizio De André and Enrica Rignon among his parents. During the initial years of the 1980s, he assembled the ensemble I Tempi Duri, which would issue only a single record titled Chiamali Tempi Duri in 1982 prior to its dissolution, paving the way for his prosperous individual endeavors. His first solo outing, bearing his own name, arrived in 1987 and was succeeded by further releases such as Sul Confine along with Scaramante.
