D Mob, a British ensemble focused on house music, achieved notable visibility between 1989 and 1990. Through the success of singles such as "We Call it Acieed" and "C'Mon and Get My Love," the group helped move the style beyond club circles into broader audiences. Cathy Dennis supplied the vocals on the latter track and subsequently pursued a solo career that gained traction in 1991.
