Biography
Emerging from Spain during the mid-1980s, pop/rock outfit Doctor Deseo originated when singer/songwriter Francis Diez and bassist Josi Jimenez joined forces. Their first recording reached listeners in 1987 as a self-titled album, after which Tan Cerca Del Cielo appeared in 1989 and Fugitivos en el Paraíso followed in 1991. The ensemble crossed beyond Spanish borders in 1996, completing a successful tour through Mexico. Subsequent to the 1998 issuance of Hay Cuentos Aun Por Inventar, Doctor Deseo resurfaced early in the new century with Atrapado en Tu Silencio...De Incertidumbres y Caricias.
