Biography
Emily Zeck built an early audience through a widely followed Instagram presence before establishing herself as a singer and songwriter. Her work centers on acoustic pop with a coastal feel, showcased in the ukulele-driven "Pacific Blue" from 2015 and the reggae-tinged "Avocado Toast" from 2018. She has also joined forces with EDM acts, infusing their dance tracks with a sun-and-surf atmosphere.
Born in Vero Beach, Florida, Zeck spent her childhood surfing and making music. As a teenager she performed at open-mike nights, and while enrolled at the University of Northern Florida in Jacksonville she began using her social platforms to share her songs. Her debut single, "Pacific Blue," appeared in late 2015 and later featured on the four-track Good Vibe Tribe EP in 2016, the same year she moved to Los Angeles in search of further collaborations.
In 2017 she appeared on the track "After Midnight" by the Parisian DJ duo KLYMVX, issued through Sony. That year she also teamed with EDM producer and DJ Gazzo for her own release "Stardust (Forever Young)," pairing her relaxed acoustic approach with playful electronic rhythms. The singles "Avocado Toast" and "Give It All" arrived in 2018 on the independent label PRMD.
