Tennessee rapper GloRilla crafts bold anthems that champion women's self-reliance through fierce delivery and raw energy. The 2022 Hitkidd-produced track "FNF (Let's Go)" exploded virally, surpassing eight million streams while its video amassed close to 25 million views. That rapid rise prompted CMG head Yo Gotti to ink her to his roster, after which she dropped further cuts such as "Tomorrow" on the label's Gangsta Art compilation. Her first EP, Anyway, Life's Great..., surfaced before the end of 2022. Additional singles followed in 2023, among them the Moneybagg Yo duet "On Wat U On" and "Lick or Sum." Both the mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang and the studio debut GLORIOUS reached listeners in 2024.

Born and raised in Memphis's Frayser district, GloRilla sang in her church choir during childhood before discovering Chief Keef as a teenager and beginning to rap. Her cousin urged her to pursue recording seriously, leading to early releases like the 2020 song "You Ain't Shit" and 2021's "Westside Baby." Real breakthrough arrived via her 2022 partnership with Hitkidd; once they linked up, the pair cut "FNF (Let's Go)" in a single session, packing it with attitude-driven hooks that ignited parties. The finished track and video spread rapidly thanks to GloRilla's magnetic presence. Word of that momentum reached Yo Gotti, who promptly added her to CMG.

Throughout the remainder of 2022 she featured on the Gangsta Art showcase and joined Duke Deuce and Quavo for a remix of "Just Say That." The November arrival of Anyway, Life's Great... housed both "FNF (Let's Go)" and "Tomorrow 2" with Cardi B, landing at number 11 on the Billboard 200. GloRilla opened 2023 with the Moneybagg Yo single "On Wat U On," then released "Internet Trolls" alongside Hitkidd plus a deluxe version of the EP that included Lil Durk on "Ex's." May brought "Lick or Sum," while she teamed with Gloss Up, Slimeroni, K Carbon, Aleza, and Tay Keith for "Wrong One." The 2024 mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang contained the Top 40 single "Yeah Glo!" and the Megan Thee Stallion collaboration "Wanna Be." Her first proper album, GLORIOUS, arrived in October featuring appearances from Sexyy Red through Kirk Franklin and, like the mixtape before it, entered the Billboard 200's Top 20.
