Biography
The indie rock pair Iamdynamite mixes punk, new wave, glitter, and garage rock touches while favoring the melodic alt-rock flavor of the 1990s. Based in the Detroit area, the duo comprises guitarist/vocalist Christopher Martin and drummer/vocalist Chris Phillips. Blue October bassist Matt Noveskey brought the act aboard his Brando Records imprint in 2008, also helming production for their opening EP. Their first full-length arrived in 2012 as the effervescent, Noveskey-produced Supermegafantastic. Wasa Tusa followed in 2015, a more reflective set with new wave leanings that Noveskey and the band co-produced.
